Why this blog exists

Most of us do not wake up and choose “idolatry.” We choose relief. We choose control. We choose being right. We choose escape. Then we wonder why love grows thin.

This blog is my attempt to trace the pattern: what we worship, how that worship trains our desires, and how it reshapes the way we love. I once thought the most valuable path would be careful analysis of sexual sin and its patterns. I still think there is a place for diagnosis, but I have become convinced that the bigger battle is broader. The false lovers are many, and some of the most dangerous ones wear respectable clothing.

I aim to write plainly, avoid explicitness, and end with practical steps toward truer love.

If these reflections help you see what is ruling you, and help you take one step toward truer love, then the work is worth it.

Soli Deo Gloria.

House Rules

This space is governed by a few simple commitments:

  • No explicit detail. Sin is named plainly but never described in ways that feed curiosity.
  • No voyeurism. These are not confessional performances. They are patterns observed for the sake of freedom.
  • Plain speech. No jargon. No insider language. If a child could not follow the sentence, it probably needs rewriting.
  • Practical steps. Every post ends with something you can actually do.
